This week’s guest is the author of a few band biographies including Echo and the Bunnymen, REM, and Keith Moon. He is currently doing publicity for his latest effort entitled “A Light that Never Goes Out: The Enduring Saga of The Smiths”

He will be signing copies of his new book as well as reading excerpts and a Q&A tonight at Book Soup 8818 Sunset Blvd West Hollywood. I’ll be there along with David and Karey of Sweet and Tender Hooligans for an acoustic performance as well.
